Huntingdon, Cambridgshire, this man's life story is almost similar to a cat has 9 lives. At the age of only 25 years, he has been 'cheat' death by repeatedly survived after being attacked by a deadly disease.
Is Matthew Hawksley, man with 9 lives. He has 8 times the 'cheat' death after a life-threatening event, namely a broken neck, heart attack 4 times, MRSA, pneumonia and testicular cancer.
Now the 'ninth life', he describes himself as 'the most unlucky man but the most fortunate in the UK' the dramatic story of his life.
The events of the first death experienced when visiting Ireland and swim in the sea with friends. When swimming, Matthew did not realize that the water depth is only 1 meter. He jumped off the pier is quite high, making her upper body directly hit a sharp rock on the sea floor and causing a broken neck.
Amazingly, he was still able to survive but to destroy the fifth bone in the spine that causes a heart attack because his lungs filled with water.
During a trip to the hospital, Matthew suffered a heart attack 4 times in 30 minutes. Still no luck, Matthew lives could be saved. He awoke from a coma for five weeks and it took 1 month for restoring.
But it seems like death is still not going away from him. During hospitalization, he was attacked by virulent bacteria that causes it to undergo MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and pneumonia. Once again, he survived against initial expectations and doctors who said she would not walk or talk again. In fact, Matthew can back up in a few months.
However, not long after discharge from the hospital, Matthew once again given the bad news that he was suffering from testicular cancer. Again, welders from Huntingdon, Cambridgshire, it was never going to give up. He underwent surgery and therapy several times. Now his body has been declared clear of cancer.
"In many ways, I feel the most unlucky people that I know, but I think I am also the luckiest people in the UK. I never really down or angry. I just get on with life," said Matthew Hawksley, as reported by the Daily Mail, Friday (05/10/2013).
