11 Risk Factors for Breast Cancer
1. Age
The risk of developing breast cancer increases with age. Most women with breast cancer aged 50 years and over. If you are experiencing menopause late (after age 55), your risk is even greater. In general, the risk peaked at the age of 60 years.
2. History of breast cancer
If you've had cancer in one breast, your risk is higher that the other breast will also be affected.
